"Victoria is also a major focus for St.George and we're planning significant investment in the State. This includes increasing employee numbers by up to 60 new roles over the next 12 to 18 months and expanding our branch and ATM networks to increase customer convenience," said Mr Lock.

St.George Bank branch numbers in Victoria are expected to increase, with up to 12 new branches across 2010 and 2011 with ATM numbers also expected to rise across the State.

"Assisting customers in the growth corridor regions of the South West, South East and Northern suburbs of Melbourne will also be a priority.
