Mexico's KATCON and Korea's KDAC Sign Exhaust Business Strategic Alliance

KDAC and KATCON announce that both companies have signed a strategic business
alliance that will align their interests and create important synergies when pursuing
exhaust business in Korea and in the rest of the world.
The strategic business alliance will expand the excellent relationship and
historic collaboration between the two companies to the next level, combining
extensive experience, a global footprint and excellent track records. KDAC and
KATCON will coordinate their resources, skills and capabilities to pursue
selected opportunities in different regions.
Technical centers in Daegu, Korea (KDAC), Luxembourg (KATCON), Monterrey,
Mexico (KATCON) and Michigan (KATCON) will be able to design, develop and
validate exhaust products at a competitive cost. By coordinating existing
resources, customers will benefit from best global practices and efficient
implementation.
The scope of the alliance contemplates commercial, technical,
manufacturing and procurement collaboration that will allow KATCON and KDAC to
improve the value proposition for existing and potential customers.
The signing ceremony took place in Daegu, Korea at KDAC's corporate
offices on March 12, 2010.
After the ceremony, Mr. Jose De Nigris, KATCON's Executive VP for Global
