COMMONWEALTH BANK DONATES $10,000 TO THE TOODYAY BUSH
FIRE APPEAL
8 January 2010: Commonwealth Bank today announced it has donated $10,000
to the Toodyay Bush Fire Appeal, to assist those affected by the bush fires in
Toodyay, Western Australia.
Brendan White, Executive General Manager Regional and Agribusiness Banking at
Commonwealth Bank said: After speaking to our people on the ground, and after
seeing the devastation, the Commonwealth Bank is concerned at the impact the
fires have had on local residents and businesses.
I am pleased to announce the Banks donation to the fire victims of Toodyay. As the
full impact of the bushfires continues to emerge for these communities, the
Commonwealth Bank remains committed to providing strong support to our customers.
Our staff will be happy to discuss with customers their overall financial position,
any change in repayment arrangements, or to consider options for additional loan
funds, Mr White said.

This takes the Commonwealth Bank Groups total donation to the bushfire appeal to
$60,000 (Bankwest has previously contributed $50,000).
