ADG Global Supply Limited (ASX:ADQ) today issued a market update announcing a new Global Procurement and Supply Chain Management contract with Traverse Drilling International Pty Ltd (Traverse Drilling) for the next 3 years. The projected contract value is in excess of $25m.

ADG Global Supply (ADG) will manage Traverse Drillings sourcing, purchasing, industrial supply, logistics and supply chain management activities.

Rob Thurston, Commercial Director of Traverse Drilling said, ADG will be instrumental in increasing our operational efficiency through a streamlined supply and service offer. Their global reach, industry knowledge and advanced systems are capabilities that Traverse could not replicate in our current growth phase. ADGs ability to deliver a customised supply chain model based on an understanding of our business was essential to Traverse signing this long-term strategic arrangement.

ADGs Managing Director John Mancini said, The signing of this contract with Traverse Drilling is in line with the Companys strategic objective to provide fully integrated end-to-end supply chain solutions to our clients globally.

We are well equipped to support Traverse Drilling on a global scale to meet its operational, procurement and supply chain requirements in Papua New Guinea and other developing regions. Our offer provides an immediate solution allowing Traverse Drilling to concentrate on its core competency, being drilling, whilst providing them with proven cost savings and seamless operational effectiveness.

In June 2010 we announced a new strategy based on achieving sustainable revenue and profitable growth by enhancing internal capabilities, systems and processes. Our focus is on establishing medium to long term contract arrangements in our core market within the resource sector. The signing of this 3 year contract, worth $25 million, is testament to ADG delivering on its strategy which fundamentally changes the way we do business.
