Australia's MasterChef, Julie Goodwin, was Coached by ActionCOACH Marcus Kroek

SYDNEY, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --

Julie Goodwin was able to go on Channel 10's cooking challenge reality show due in part to Marcus Kroek's

business coaching.

There's no doubt that Julie Goodwin is one of Australia's greatest chefs. She recently won MasterChef Australia,

Channel 10's hit actuality show.

Goodwin, 38, ran an IT company with her husband, Michael, before she went on the show. Their business, Loyal

IT solutions, was struggling at one point. The Goodwins, who live in New South Wales, hired ActionCOACH

Business Coach Marcus Kroek to help their business acquire more success.

Kroek coached the Goodwins to achieve their utmost potential. Both Michael and Julie wrote testimonials on

Kroek's ActionCOACH website.

"Before we began coaching, my wife and I had created a healthy and profitable business. However, we had been

working to take it to the next level, a business that required our input less and was more profitable," Michael wrote.

They attended an ActionCOACH seminar given by Kroek and liked his ideas and systems that could lead them

to a profitable business that could run without them, essentially.

"With Marcus' guidance we have found the right numbers in the business to focus on," Michael wrote on Kroek's

website. "This focus has led to a quadrupling of profit in the first 6 months of coaching. He has clarified the

importance of procedures and assisted with the production of a procedure manual. He has helped us with the

recruitment process that saw our team grow by 25 percent. These are just a few of the things we have achieved

and are continuing to achieve with his guidance.

"'Coach' does not really do justice to what Marcus gives us. He is very generous with his time and his

knowledge, constantly offering support above and beyond his job description. It is great to have him sharing our

dream trip, guiding us in running our business, pushing us to be our best."

Julie wrote on Kroek's site: "Thank you for your time Marcus - I am getting so much from your knowledge and

insight at all the events I attend with you."

Julie said she was able to audition and be on the MasterChef Australia show, the highest ranking TV show on

Channel 10, due in part to Kroek's help systemizing their business and helping them establish clear goals.

Now that she's won the show, she's dedicating the win to her family - her husband and three sons, 13-year-old

Joe, 12-year-old Tom and 10-year-old Paddy -and hopes to develop a cooking career. She will cease her duties

with the IT business.

Kroek has been very successful as an ActionCOACH, and has won numerous awards, including the ActionMAN

award at ActionCOACH's 2007 Asia Pacific conference, and Firm of the Year and Best Client Results awards at the

2008 Asia Pacific conference.
