Bossy Hair Franchise Celebrates 10 Years in Business
BISBANE, QUEENSLAND. Brisbane hairdressing franchise Bossy Hair will celebrate 10 years in
business this Saturday night at the Tivoli Theatre from 7pm.
More than 160 owners, staff, suppliers and clients will join Bossy founders Antoinette and Michael
Thorpe at a gala “Circus Fun” black tie themed ball to celebrate the milestone. They will also be
holding a charity auction with the proceeds being donated to the Leukaemia Foundation.
The night will feature a catwalk fashion show with hair by Bossy and designer garments from
Mercedes fashion labels: la la lux (la la Latrobe), Daniel Alexander and Thread and Bone. Grant
Norton, the new Head of Technical for tigi Australia will also be assisting with fabulous hair for the
show.
Antoinette said, “We are very excited about the 10 year milestone. We have a strong culture and
there are many passionate people in our group. Here’s to the next 10 years”.
The long time Bossy Hair business is thriving with more stores earmarked for opening in coming
months. The franchise now boasts 11 stores, most of which are owned and operated by
entrepreneurs – usually former hairdressers or Bossy employees – taking those first steps toward
successful, job creating ventures with the help of the Bossy brand and its accredited business
training academy.
Antoinette, herself a stylist and colourist for more than 20 years, has worked with various rock star
and sporting celebrities. Michael is no stranger to successful franchises either – he was the original
Australian Development Agent for Subway Sandwiches back in the early 1990s.
