BRI FERRIER APPOINTED TO ASSIST WIDEFORM
Brian Silvia and Andrew Cummins, of BRI Ferrier, have been appointed Joint Voluntary
Administrators of a number NSW-based entities within the Wideform Group of Companies.
Brian Silvia and Moira Carter were jointly appointed to the North Queensland operations
and Brian Silvia and Ian Currie were jointly appointed to the Brisbane operations.
The Administrators will be working closely with Wideform’s financier, clients, builders and
the CFMEU to preserve as many jobs as possible and to ensure the interests of all
stakeholders are protected.
The appointment follows the termination of formwork contracts on a number of sites by a
major client.
Wideform was founded in Wollongong in 1974 with three employees and now employs
approximately 700 staff in NSW and Queensland.
