Executive(TM) (ISE)(TM) North America Awards 2010 - Applications & Project
Nominees Accepted through 9/15/10
T.E.N., a technology and information security executive networking and
relationship-marketing firm, announced today that nominations have opened now through
September 15th, for the ISE(TM) North America Awards 2010. The Information Security
Executive(TM) of the Year Award is presented annually on a regional and national
basis to a chief information security executive or their equivalent who has made a
positive impact through risk management, data asset protection, regulatory
compliance, privacy and information security. The Project of the Year Award
recognizes a project completed in the past 12-18 months that has had an impact on an
organization's risk management or information security posture.
Winners, finalists and qualified nominees will be recognized at the
ISE(TM) North America Awards Gala to be held on October 27-28, 2010 at the
Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, Oxon Hill, MD. The ISE(TM) North
America Awards are held in conjunction with a two-day Leadership Summit at
the CSI 2010 Conference, which includes keynote speakers, interactive,
roundtables moderated by the CISOs and VPs of participating companies, and
hot topic panel discussions.
Eligible nominees are selected from all regions of North America
including the U.S. and Canada. Last year's ISE(TM) North America Award
finalists and winners include the top information security executives and
their project teams from Lockheed Martin Corporation, Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), NASA, The Walt Disney
Company, Proctor & Gamble, Qualcomm, U.S. Department of Defense, People's
United Bank, Paychex, Inc., Wells Fargo & Company, Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, State of California and DuPont.
For the ISE(TM) North America Awards, both the executive and project
categories for nomination include the commercial, government and
academic/non-profit sectors. Executive or project teams can be self-nominated
in addition to entries by supervisors, employees, peers, or technology
partners. Anyone interested in nominating for the "Executive of the Year" and
"Project of the Year" may download nomination forms at:
In addition to the questions that are to be completed for evaluation by
the judges, the nomination form contains information on the history of the
awards, judging process, award criteria, and next steps. Nominations are sent
to T.E.N.'s distinguished panel of ISE(TM) North America Judges for review
and scoring. The panel of judges typically consists of previous finalists and
winners of the ISE(TM) Awards. Judges have the final approval in determining
whether an executive or project team is qualified to participate as a nominee
at either the regional or national level. Finalists and winners are not
announced publicly until the evening of the awards.
Considered by many to be "the premier recognition and networking program
for security professionals," the ISE(TM) Awards Program Series has been
recognized as the industry leader in showcasing executives and their teams in
the information security industry across the U.S., Canada and Europe. During
the Leadership Summit and Awards, ISE(TM) Nominees and Project Teams are
honored both during the business segments and the evening awards gala. They
are also recognized through press coverage and inclusion on T.E.N.'s website
as well as other award promotions.
