MEDIA RELEASE PR40294

eFax Expands Service in Japan with The Addition of 15 New Cities To its Network

LOS ANGELES, July 7 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --

Japanese Expansion Highlights Continued Growth of eFax(R) Service in

                             Asia-Pacific Market

eFax(R), the leading global brand in online fax and the industry's

largest fax to email provider with more than 11 million customers worldwide,

today announced its continued Asia-Pacific expansion with the addition of 15

new cities in Japan. Having announced the launch of a Japanese language

website, Japanese-speaking customer service/sales teams and an office based

in Tokyo last month, the expansion broadens the network of available eFax

brand area codes for users.

The expanded network of area codes now provides further eFax number

options for Hiroshima, Kobe, Kyoto, Nagoya, Sapporo, Yokohama and nine other

cities throughout Japan, offering residents the ability to use eFax to send

and receive faxes via email. Using eFax brand Internet faxing greatly reduces

the reliance on dedicated fax machines and gives both desktop and laptop

computer owners the ability to send and receive faxes from any location that

has Wi-Fi or Internet access.

"The global business world is witnessing a shift towards an increasingly

mobile workforce, and organizations are seeking effective and cost-efficient

ways to provide technologies and services that support this trend," said Hemi

Zucker, CEO for j2 Global Communications, Inc. "Although Japan is the world's

second largest market for personal computers and the number one market in

facsimile machines per capita, it has been under-serviced as it relates to

online fax. eFax is a logical fit and invaluable service for individuals and

companies of all sizes, from sole proprietors with a single fax number to

large multinational corporations companies with thousands of fax numbers."

In addition to the dedicated Japanese language website (www.efax.co.jp),

Japanese-speaking telesales and technical support personnel are now available

to help customers sign up for, and use, the eFax service.
