             Etsuo Doi Brings Extensive Japan Practice Experience 
 
    Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that Etsuo Doi has joined the firm as a partner in the New York and 
Tokyo offices dealing with intellectual property, litigation and transactions. He will also be co-managing partner 
of the firm's Tokyo office. 
 
    Doi represents both Japan-based and international companies in matters relating to cross-border 
transactions, IP counseling and litigation, e-commerce, joint ventures, licensing and general corporate work. 
 
    Previously, Doi served as corporate counsel at eBay, Inc. and chief legal counsel at eBay Japan KK. Prior 
to joining Foley, Doi was a partner at Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP.
