Former PBL Media and ACP Magazines commercial director joins Wholesale Investor advisory board

Former PBL Media and ACP Magazines commercial director Tim Trumper has become a shareholder and joined the advisory board of Wholesale Investor a new digital & print publication that highlights exclusive investment opportunities and is currently reaching a database of over 4,000 high net worth and professional investors.

Whilst the consumer market continues to live in fear of the recession, the Big Boys are on the prowl for 'The deal of a life time". A recent survey of the Wholesale Investor database revealed that 96% of investors believe that now is a good time to invest, and over 70% have most of their portfolio in cash. It also found that 76% prefer to invest into private companies as opposed to ASX listed companies.

Whilst the current downturn has led to banks tightening their lending policies making the ability for private companies to raise capital increasingly difficult, Wholesale Investor is coming to the rescue of the Private Sector by providing exposure for businesses in need of funding to a combined investment pool worth of over $10 billion.

Tim Trumper is seeking to apply his significant experience in media to make Wholesale Investor the focal point for the private investment sector in Australia.

Until August 2008, Tim Trumper was the commercial director for PBL Media. Prior to that he has held senior executive and directorship positions with Time Inc Magazines, ACP Magazines and Murdoch Magazines. He was also formerly Chairman of the Magazine Publishers of Australia (MPA).

He is currently a director of Real Insurance and a Board Member at Southern Cross University Foundation.
