Headroom Learning Selects Intelligaia Technologies as Exclusive Implementation Partner for Online
Admissions Test Services Throughout India
REDMOND, Wash., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --
Headroom Learning Strategies announced today that it has selected
Intelligaia Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to be its exclusive implementation partner
and representative for college admissions testing services to be offered
throughout the Indian subcontinent. The 5-year exclusive license contemplated
by today's Memorandum of Understanding includes all states of India, as well
as an option to sublicense within neighboring countries in South Asia.
Throughout 2009, Headroom Learning has been developing a highly robust
client-server system for secure administration of tests such as, or similar
to, the SAT, PSAT, ACT, LSAT, GMAT, UK A-Levels, China's Gao Kao and India's
IIT-JEE exams. The Headroom Learning system is also well suited to language
proficiency tests similar to TOEFL and IELTS.
Rufus Greenbaum, Headroom Learning's Director of International Business
stated, "There is clearly a vast and poorly met need for online test
administration throughout the Indian subcontinent."

availability, and malware." He added that, in his opinion, "large western
companies have completely failed to understand the infrastructure landscape
within many parts of the world."
The Headroom Learning system leverages cloud computing for rapid data
upload, assessment of results, and statistical analysis. However, unlike
competing assessment systems, the Headroom Learning technology will securely
push digitally encrypted content to so-called "fit clients" many hours before
students sit for the exams. The proprietary Headroom Learning technology is
believed to be nearly impervious to network interruptions. It is compatible
with Linux as well as Windows PCs.
Intelligaia has furthermore pledged to deploy Headroom Learning's
technology with the utmost attention to malware protection on every
workstation.
Dr. Kenneth E. Knight, chairman of Headroom Learning affirmed that
Headroom Learning is cognizant of the up-front costs associated with flawless
site preparation, logistics, and SMS communication to registered students.
Therefore, contingent on credit availability, Headroom Learning plans to
provide a half million dollar (USD) irrevocable letter of credit facility to
Intelligaia -- if Intelligaia secures a project exceeding 100,000 seats.
