Mercuria - Paul Chivers, Chief Investment Officer

Mercuria Energy Trading is pleased to announce that Paul Chivers has
joined the company as Chief Investment officer. Paul will formally establish
a global investment capability at Mercuria and lead the on-going development
of Mercuria's investment platform providing key business teams with
investment, structuring and financing advice on all future strategic
investments. He will also join the board of Mercuria.
Paul comes to Mercuria with a long track record in Investment Banking and
finance. He brings significant capital markets origination, advisory and
investment expertise to the group through a career covering the global
Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure sectors. Paul also provides
great experience to the group through the senior positions held through his
career, most recently as Head Debt Capital Markets, CEEMEA with BNP Paribas;
Managing Director, Illiquid Credit Trading Deutsche Bank and as European Head
of Finance at Enron Europe.
