Mirapoint and Critical Path to Merge


SUNNYVALE, California & DUBLIN, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --


    - Combined Company Creates a World Leader in Messaging and

Security Solutions


    Mirapoint Software Inc., the secure enterprise messaging

experts, and Critical Path, Inc., a leading provider of messaging software

and services, today announced that they have entered into a definitive

agreement to merge.


    The combination advances both companies' strategies of

delivering world class messaging, security and archiving solutions to leading

enterprises and service providers around the world.

The combined company will operate under the name Critical Path Inc. with

primary operations in Sunnyvale, California and Dublin, Ireland. Mark Palomba

will serve as CEO with Jeff Witous serving as a strategic advisor to the

combined company.
