PepsiCo Creates Chairman's Circle of Champions to Recognize Top Performers in Operations

PURCHASE, N.Y., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --

New Program Celebrates Incredible Talent of Associates Who Make and Move PepsiCo Foods, Snacks and

Beverages Around the World

PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP) today announced the Chairman's Circle of Champions program that recognizes the

company's outstanding Operations associates -- the "makers and movers" -- from all over the world who

demonstrate outstanding performance in the areas of safety, quality, service, cost, sustainability and people skills.

"Every day I'm reminded of how powerful our 'make and move' systems are. This is the core of what we do, and

our ability to get products of impeccable quality within arm's reach of consumers across the world is our biggest

advantage. That distribution advantage is driven by our people - primarily, our frontline Operations team members

who make and move our snacks and drinks everyday," said Indra Nooyi, PepsiCo chairman and chief executive

officer. "The Chairman's Circle of Champions is an important part of PepsiCo's Performance with Purpose strategic

mission. Like for all of our associates, this mission inspires our Operations team members to make and move our

products in a sustainable way and ensures that our great company and products become even better."

The annual Chairman's Circle of Champions recognizes only about one-quarter of 1 percent of PepsiCo's more

than 150,000 global Operations associates. The celebration in New York next October is an opportunity to

bring together PepsiCo's top Operations performers from all over the world to meet and discuss best practice

business ideas, in addition to recognizing them for their outstanding results.

Parallel to Operations' Chairman's Circle of Champions, PepsiCo also recognizes the company's top Sales

associates at the President's Ring of Honor event in New York each spring. The event was established in 1999 by

then PepsiCo CEO and Chairman Roger Enrico to celebrate and reward top performers in Sales. Celebrating

associates who deliver exceptional results is a proud PepsiCo tradition.
