Preshafood Moves to Next Level With Appointment of Jon Wood as CEO and General Manager

Innovative Australian food and beverage Company Preshafood Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jon Wood as the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager. The appointment confirms the Company's strategy and commitment to add new skills and expertise to the Company in order to elevate Preshafood's development and growth to the next level. This appointment comes at a time when Preshafood is experiencing an exciting period of growth, following the recent success with the Woolworths and Coles ranging and several significant factory upgrades which are currently under-way, including a new processing machine, bottling line and labelling system.

Preshafood believes that Jon Wood will bring complementary skills and the necessary experience and knowledge to assist in the further development of Preshafood over the coming years. Jon's extensive management background encompasses start-up, marketing, organisational development and managerial experience spanning 20 years in building a range of successful businesses.

Jon Wood was the Director of Business Development for Foster's Brewing Group from 2005-07 where he worked on the integration of Southcorp, Berringer and Carlton and United Breweries. The merger resulted in the largest premium wine company in the world and the largest domestic alcoholic beverage company. Jon also created, and managed the Emerging Business Division of Coles Myer. Jon currently sits on a number of boards, and was the Chairperson for the very successful Flybuys joint venture from 1995-2003, amongst other directorships. He was a director of the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), an industry association of Advertisers responsible for advertising approval, audit and industry related training and issues. He was also a founding director of the largest global retail buying hub, GNX. Jon has a first class honours degree in Engineering and an MBA from Harvard.
