QANTAS ENHANCES PERTH-HONG KONG SCHEDULE
PERTH, 23 December 2009: Qantas today announced new operating times for its Perth-Hong Kong services to provide greater convenience and better connections for customers.
Qantas Regional General Manager Western Australia, Mr Ian Gay, said: "We will change our operating schedule from 29 March 2010 to provide greater convenience for our customers travelling to Hong Kong and beyond."
QF67 from Perth to Hong Kong will move from a 9.20am departure to a 10.15pm departure, arriving in Hong Kong at 6.05am local time the following day.
"Our customer research tells us that this change has significant appeal to both business and leisure travellers," Mr Gay said.
"The new times will give customers access to a wider range of connections from Hong Kong on to London and North East Asia, including Beijing and Shanghai.
"QF67 will continue to operate three services a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will now connect with QF29 between Hong Kong and London, providing an additional United Kingdom
option to QF71 and QF77 from Perth to London via Singapore."
The return flight QF68 from Hong Kong to Perth will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, departing Hong Kong at 11.30pm and arriving in Perth at 7.20am the following day.
