St.George Bank was today named Australia's best home lender by the Australian Financial Review's Smart Investor magazine in its annual SMILES survey.

The recognition, voted by readers of AFR Smart Investor magazine, gave St.George Bank top marks for customer satisfaction and value for money.

This is St.George Bank's second award for home lending this year, with the bank also named Home Lender of the Year by Money magazine for 2009. A number of St.George home loan products have also recently been awarded 5 stars by Canstar Cannex for Outstanding Value.
