MEDIA RELEASE PR35408
The China Center for Transnational Dispute Settlement (CCTDS) Announces Launch of English Website
SHANGHAI, July 17 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --
Against the backdrop of the fast growing amount of China-related
cross-border commercial disputes, CCTDS is launching its new website
"China, now the world's third largest economy, is generating legal rules
at an incredible pace," said Juliet Lai, the Research Coordinator for CCTDS,
"so much that, for example, Thomson Reuters has just launched 'Westlaw China'
to meet the growing demand of Chinese legal information."
In the meantime, as PRC companies expand internationally, they are
increasingly exposed to legal risks in places far from home and thus in
growing need of respective local representation.
CCTDS' website seeks to inform, to connect and to serve international
businesses and professional communities that are stake holders in
China-related transnational disputes.
