Leading Global SaaS Insurance Software Provider Taps Former Head of
Sun Microsystems Global Insurance Practice to Lead Expansion Efforts in Asia

Chairman of Asia Pacific Operations. In his new role, Mr. Piesse will be
responsible for leading the global on-demand insurance provider's Asia
Pacific customer expansion efforts from the organization's newly established
Hong Kong office.

Mr. Piesse, who most recently headed the global insurance and financial
services, Asia Pacific, practice for Sun Microsystems, brings more than 30
years of global experience to UniRisX. He has specialized knowledge of
bancAssurance, Islamic insurance, microinsurance, brokerage, agency and
non-financial channels within global/APAC markets, plus entry of insurance
into social networks.

Mr. Piesse began his career at Lloyd's of London and has since held
positions of increasing responsibility across the Asia Pacific market,
specializing in China, India, Japan, Australia and Southeast Asia. In
addition, he spent five years with the United Nations in natural disaster
risk management and has extensive practitioner experience in developing
markets.
Mr. Piesse is a member of the British Computer Society and the Chartered
Institute of Insurers. He has authored a number of white papers on financial
services and IT. Mr. Piesse is a regular speaker on the global circuit and
sits on various round tables for microfinance and disaster risk management
solutions.
