Unomedical Announces Sale of Custom Procedure Packs Business
Mona Vale, AU 15/02/10 Unomedical, a leading manufacturer of single-use medical devices, today announced the sale of its Custom Procedure Packs (CPP) business, including part of its Mona Vale production facility in Australia, to PAUL HARTMANN Pty. Ltd., the Australian subsidiary of PAUL HARTMANN AG, a global provider of innovative products and customized services designed to enhance patient well-being and support healthcare professionals.
Concurrently, Unomedical also announced that it will relocate its remaining medical consumables manufacturing capabilities to its other production centres of excellence in Malaysia, Mexico, and Slovakia. The company has notified the National Union of Workers of these announcements.
This decision is in line with the corporate growth strategy of ConvaTec, the parent company of Unomedical, which is focused on meeting customer needs in core global businesses of ostomy care, wound therapeutics, continence & critical care, and infusion devices.

During the transition of ownership, Unomedical is committed to working with PAUL HARTMANN to ensure the ongoing production of CPP products at the Mona Vale plant and the uninterrupted delivery of CPP products to the Australia and New Zealand medical communities.
