03/12/2009 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Brisbane entrepreneur at the helm of Australia’s

11th Fastest- Start Up

10X Limited, the national accounting franchise co-founded by Brisbane-based entrepreneur Nic

Clark, has been named Australia’s 11th fastest-growing start-up at the recent SmartCompany

Business Start Up Awards last Wednesday – beating 39 of Australia’s highest performing new

entrants.

As co-founder and CEO of 10X, Nic Clark has taken the company from zero to almost $3.5 million

in just 2 years.  10X Limited sells “add-on” 10X business development divisions to leading

accounting firms across Australia, enabling them to deliver business improvement and coaching

services to their clients in a manner that is systemised, leveraged, and fully-resourced.

The 10X network that Nic Clark has created is now the fastest-growing new development in the

accounting profession and one of the most successful Australian market entrants in 2008/2009.

The 10X concept is revolutionising the accounting profession – helping accountants reach out to

their clients and positively impact the small business community like never before.  Since

inception in late 2007, over 6200 SME’s have already benefited from free business seminars and

advice from 10X business development divisions across the country.

10X CEO, Nic Clark, reports that “10X ‘entrepreneurs’ represent a new breed of proactive

accountants, committed to positively influencing the numbers in their clients’ businesses rather

than just reporting on them.”

This is the first time in Australia that business development and coaching services have been

franchised and integrated into established accounting firms across the country with this level of

success and momentum.  Rather than adopting a traditional franchise model, 10X restricts the

number of franchise sales by geography and enters into a partnership arrangement with each

firm that includes an equity holding in the entire 10X network.
