Launch of Wesley Missions third report on financial stress
On the eve of the RBAs announcement on mortgage interest rates, Wesley Mission
will release its 100-page report on financial stress in NSW on Monday, November 1
at 10.30 am.
The survey and report contains details of the impact of financial stress on
households, some comparative analysis from Wesley Missions 2006 and 2008
financial stress reports and suggested ways forward to deal with the problem.
The Wesley Report covers:
The extent of financial stress
Which households are hurting the most
Ability to meet future financial obligations
Ability to pay off credit cards
Attitudes to saving
Impact of financial stress on physical and mental health
