Miura Signs Technical Cooperation Agreements for Energy Saving and Environmental
Protection through Use of Industrial Boilers with Two China Organizations

- Agreements with China Special Equipment Inspection & Research Centre and Dalian
Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspection Institute -
Miura Co., Ltd. signed two technical cooperation agreements regarding energy
saving and environmental protection through the use of the industrial boilers
with two Chinese organizations at the "Japan-China Energy Saving, Environmental
General Forum" held in Tokyo on November 28.
The agreements are as follows:
With China Special Equipment Inspection & Research Centre
-Developing boiler energy audit technology and energy saving models
-Establishing and improving the boiler technology standards
-Education of operators
With Dalian Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspection Institute
-Developing boiler remote controlling device
-Improving water analysis and management methods
-Education and training
There are still many coal-fired boilers used in China. As well as changeover to
Miura's small once-through boilers and gas fuel, these agreements are expected to
bring significant energy saving and environmental improvement.
