XCHANGING PREPARES FOR GROWTH IN ASIA PACIFIC
Appoints Head of Asia Pacific to lead the business and capture growth
opportunities in the region
LONDON, 03 November 2009 Xchanging plc (LSE:XCH), the global business
processor today announced the appointment of Kerry Purcell as Head of Asia Pacific
region. In this newly created position Kerry will be responsible for spearheading
Xchangings growth in the Asia Pacific markets. This will include leading the Companys
business in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, China and Japan. Kerry will be a
member of the Xchanging Management Board and will be based in Sydney, Australia.
Kerry brings rich leadership experience across multiple cultures. He has worked
extensively in the Asian markets. In his most recent role as Vice President and
Managing Director Asia Pacific for HP-EDS, Kerry successfully led the integration of
HP-EDS services group across Greater China, Korea and South East Asia. Prior to that,
he led the Japanese business division for HP-EDS. Kerry has also worked with Telstra
and Telecom NZ Group with senior sales and marketing responsibilities in Australia.

Kerry is fluent in Japanese language and can read Chinese. He holds a Masters in
Business Administration from the Cranfield Business School, UK.
