GetAFreelancer becomes Freelancer.com

Sydney, October 6th 2009: GetAFreelancer.com, the world's top freelance jobs micro-

outsourcing marketplace, today announced that it has acquired the domain Freelancer.com and

will now be known as FreelancerTM.

"We are excited to take GetAFreelancer into new territory as Freelancer", said Matt Barrie, Chief

Executive of GetAFreelancer.com. "After breaking one million users last week, the company is

moving up to the next level. We feel that our new name better reflects our goals and aspirations

and will increase our profile and visibility."

GetAFreelancer connects over one million employers and freelancers from around the world.

Through our website, employers can hire freelancers to do work in areas such as software, writing,

data entry and design right through to engineering and the sciences, sales and marketing, and

accounting & legal services. GetAFreelancer is the leader in the micro-outsourcing market, with the

average job size being under US$200. This is extremely cost effective for small businesses, who

need all sorts of jobs to be done from time to time, but cannot justify the cost of hiring full time.

Over 475,000 jobs have been posted to date, for a sum of over US$43 million.
