National people management
awards winners announced

The Australian Human Resources Institute will tonight announce the 2009 winners for its annual
people management awards to individuals and organisations whose performance in managing
people has been outstanding.
This year most of the AHRI awards are sponsored by world renowned thought leaders who
have endorsed the award in their name and have participated in the final judging of winners.
The awards include those named under the following leaders:
Dave Ulrich, Professor of Business at the University of Michigan (US)
Lynda Gratton, Professor of Management Practice at London Business School (UK)
John Boudreau, Professor and Research Director at the University of Southern
California (US)
Wayne Cascio, Robert H Reynolds Chair of Global Leadership at the University of
Colorado Denver (US)
Rob Goffee, Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the London Business School
(UK)
Pru Goward, NSW politician and former Federal Sex Discrimination Commissioner
(Australia)
Martin Seligman, Director of the Center for Positive Psychology, University of
