Victorian police chief to speak about

her people

May 20

The chief commissioner of Victoria police will speak about the force of 13,000 people who serve

the state’s population of more than five million. 

Christine Nixon will give a keynote address titled “Keeping the Peace” at the Australian Human

Resources Institute’s 2008 national convention.

Other speakers at the two-day event on 21-22 May include:

Daniel Pink, author of A Whole New Mind

Lyn Heward, former president of creative content at Cirque du Soleil

Tim Costello, CEO of World vision

Lynda Gratton, professor of management practice at London Business School

Steve Sargent, president & CEO of GE commercial Finance, Australia & NZ

Ian Kiernan, founder and chairman, Clean Up Australia

Mick Keelty, commissioner of the Australian Federal Police

Charles Power, partner at Holding Redlich lawyers

Fiona Krautil, head of advancement of diversity and women at ANZ

Rhicke Jennings, managing director of FedEx Australia, NZ and Pacific Islands

Allan Pease, author and communicator
