INSURANCE BROKER SELECTED FOR BESTSELLING BOOK SERIES
A Newcastle businessman is among a host of international writers, mentors,
entrepreneurs, and business leaders contributing to the new professional
development book Wake Up…Live the Life You Love: In Service.
Tony Bourke, a recognised leader in the Australian Insurance Broking industry, says
that he is “honored” to be included in this inspirational book series with Brian Tracy, Dr
Wayne Dyer, Lee Baird, John Assaraf, and Gregory Scott Reid.
Wake Up…Live the Life You Love: In Service is a collection of essays from successful
people who tell their stories of finding true fulfilment in life by “serving others”.
The book is part of a series that regularly appears on the Barnes & Noble best sellers
lists in the USA. It releases July 29.
Mr Bourke says that all successful people recognise the need to serve others and their
communities.
“Giving one’s time, talents and resources is a deeply-felt impulse that expands the
soul of humanity and benefits both the giver and the receiver,” Bourke says.
“I hope my story helps inspire others to take a fresh look at the concept,” he adds.
Bourke grew up in Newcastle and started AIIB Insurance Brokers in Newcastle five
years ago. He has more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry with
various sales, marketing and management roles working for both insurers and
Insurance Brokers.
Following the recent Victorian bushfires, he appeared on the Sky Business Channel to
provide updates on various insurance topics.
Two dollars from the sale of every book purchased directly from Mr Bourke’s website
will be donated to The Cancer Council of Australia.
“Cancer impacts on every member of our community in some way during our
lifetime, so I hope my book will provide some additional help for The Cancer Council
and the people they serve,” Bourke adds.
