Corinne Grant creates an inclusive Christmas

One of Australia’s most-loved performers, comedian Corinne Grant – star of The Glass

House, Rove Live, Spicks and Specks and Dancing with the Stars – will be the MC at the

Brotherhood of St Laurence’s Wishing Tree Community Christmas Party on Thursday, 10

December.

With an established career in TV, radio and as a stand-up comic, Corinne will be the perfect

host as she welcomes a wide cross section of the community to the Brotherhood.

Brotherhood Acting General Manager Communications, Lyn Amy said the event catered for

a diverse community and was a highlight of the year for many locals.

“More than 400 people will attend,” Lyn said.

“There will be families from the high rise estates as well as residents and clients of

Brotherhood programs including our refugee services,” she said.

“This party is a great opportunity to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas and to engage in

both sharing and giving.

“It will be a wonderful and incredibly colourful event and I would like to take this opportunity

to thank the host of volunteers who make this day possible, including our Freehill’s team of

volunteers who will help with everything from wrapping presents to cooking a delicious

barbeque.”

Entertainment includes the Sacred Heart Primary School choir, an African drumming band,

magician and roving acrobatic delights, plus Santa will arrive on a fire truck.
