Victoria’s demand for air conditioning boils over
The current heatwave has caught Victorians off guard, with figures from Yellow Pages
®
showing demand
for air conditioning at record levels.
On Monday and Tuesday this week, the number of searches on yellowpages.com.au for air conditioning
and home cooling jumped by more than 840% compared to searches on the same days over the last four
weeks
And with soaring temperatures expected for the rest of the week, Stephen Ronchi from Yellow Pages

said the demand was set to continue.
"With the hot weather hitting in successive days, people are looking for some relief and turning to Yellow

in record numbers.”
