shows the top 10 areas/suburbs most in demand include:

With the property market in the peak Spring period, Petra Sprekos, General Manager of realestateVIEW.com.au said the CBD and inner city postcodes still rate high on people's wish list to live.

"With more than 90% of property hunters using online as their first port of call to search the property market, the top 10 listing provides a good indication of where the highest levels of buyer interest is."

The data also shows 73% of searches conducted indicated buyers were looking for a house as their ideal property type. 21% of browsers were searching for a unit, apartment or studio and only 6% were looking to buy a townhouse.

"The spring selling season is well under way, with an influx of properties entering the market," Sprekos said. "With interest rates stable and the State's mining projects continuing to flourish, the property market in South Australia is expected to move forward with vigour and prove a worthwhile investment opportunity for both homebuyers and investors."
