Last Six Blocks at Sanctuary Lakes Selling This Weekend

Sanctuary Lakes Resort, the multi award winning golfing residential project developed by Links

Living, which changed the face of the residential property market in the West of Melbourne, will

be selling its last blocks of land this weekend.

Sanctuary Lakes was a leader in residential lifestyle living when it was started some fifteen

years ago and still maintains that position today as 50% of the project is dedicated as open

space with a spectacular 150 acre lake twice the size of Albert Park Lake, and a Championship

Greg Norman designed Golf Course.

The first water front lots released in February 1997 sold from $120,000. Today similar water

front allotments are selling between $480,000 and $660,000.

Sanctuary Lakes was the first residential golfing project in Melbourne which provided residents

with  unique lifestyle facilities such as a resident and golf member clubhouse, café, restaurants,

gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis courts and 24/7 security.

Links Living said the company was extremely proud of Sanctuary Lakes as it set many new

benchmarks for the development industry with people from around Australia and the world

visiting the project.

“Sanctuary Lakes will always be a premium residential location with 30% of all land either on the

waterfront or on the golf course, underpinning the ongoing value of properties.”

“With the shortage of land and planning restrictions, another premium lifestyle development

such as Sanctuary Lakes Resort is unlikely to ever be built again so close to Melbourne”.
