A Handmade Christmas UpMarket

On the evening of Friday November 20 and Saturday November 21

Handmade will again be open for trading at the Yarralumla Woolshed for

“A Handmade Christmas” Market. With over 10,000 people gracing the

woolshed for the last event, Handmade Market can be deemed nothing short

of a huge success. Cleary there is something unique and intriguing that draws

such a crowd to this quarterly up-market.

Handmade has made some changes for their Christmas Market & you are

sure to love them. Not only have they embraced the new location at the

Yarralumla Woolshed but you can now catch the FREE bus to & from the

market. The bus will run from Civic interchange to the Woolshed every hour

on the half hour.

Market founder Julie Nichols says “the quality of new applications for this

market has been nothing short of amazing. The job of choosing the stalls for

the Christmas market was very challenging.  We had so many fantastic

applications we could fill the woolshed twice!

The Friday night twilight market will again be a great night with many

shoppers enjoying the evening trade, a glass of wine or a handmade beer and

the cooler night time weather. Many of our customers came straight from work

& this time all the food stalls will be open for the Friday night trade.”

As a special treat the Children’s Youth Music Choir is singing from 6.30pm.

They will be running their Giving Tree again this Christmas. There will be a

special “handmade” tree. Customers can take a tag from the tree, purchase

something from a Handmade stall and place it under the tree. These gifts will

be distributed this Christmas to families in the ACT affected by Motor Neurone

Disease.

Subscribers to the Handmade newsletter at handmademarket.com.au will

have the chance to win an amazing lighting package from Electric Firefly to

the value of $800. Also on offer will be a huge hamper of handmade goods

donated from the designers at Handmade. Proceeds from the hamper raffle

are going to Motor Neurone Disease NSW and ACT. The four previous

markets have raised a total of $6753.60

NO ATM facilities. There is disabled access & parking at the front of the

woolshed. Handmade Market, Yarralumla Woolshed, November 20 & 21.
