The Joondalup store owned by young entrepreneur Blanche Harper has filled this void in
the Perth lingerie market, providing fashionable and functional bras with matching
underwear for the fuller cup.
Harper said she opened the lingerie boutique after finding it impossible to purchase bras
that supported women from a D to K cup. It wasn’t until she took off on a European
adventure that she discovered a range of quality international brands that catered for
women like herself.
“I realised that there was an absolute need for these brands to be stocked in Perth. I knew
what it was like to just ‘make do’ which normally resulted in me wearing the wrong size
bra.
“The brands stocked are specifically for your D to K cup wearer. I have had customers
laughing over comments they have received since purchasing their correctly fitted bras,
from people asking if they have lost weight or even had surgery.”
The staff at A Cup Above are qualified fitters who pride themselves on exceptional
service in a non judgemental environment. Clients are able discuss their needs over a
complimentary coffee to help them find the perfect fit for whatever the occasion. The
formula obviously works with women driving from all over Perth to buy everyday, sports
and bridal lingerie which are both fashionable and feminine.
“I get a real sense of satisfaction from helping these ladies feel more confident with their
bodies” Harper said.
